Today is Thursday, but i only manage to post about Wednesday today. heee...
Awesome because i met my mom. and sucks because we ate something really terrible, we i mean me & emily. The topic for the morning lecture is about fast food industry. When it is about fast food, us Malaysia have KFC and McDonalds in our mind. So, our lecturer keep on blabbering about this industry, as we talk about that, i can really imagine Spicy McDeluxe in my mind, it's been a while since i have it. budget, remember? i said "emily... i have Spicy McDeluxe in my mind... i can really imagine it.." so emily reply me "yes.. yes... i know. i'm hungry..." we both keep repeating these kind of sentences... and finally emily said "let's go to McD after this class." i replied "i've got presentation at 4pm, do u think we can make it?" she said "ofcourse, why not." so we decided to go there after class.
We both walk to the mall, it is One Borneo Hypermall, just in case u know bout this mall. it is not far, not even close to the word "far" lol.. the mall was really close to our faculty. we student even have our own shortcut to go there, so it was like not more than 10 minutes of walking, u r arrived! hahaha... on our way to McD, we saw this one outlet, it is Pancake House International. we both are pancake & pasta lover. they prepared the menu near to the entrance of their outlet.. so we both see through it, just for the sake of our restaurant project... we want to see how they do their menu. but then this one section, where it is a pasta section, the pictures looks so tempting, we both like... "wahhhh... pasta" at last, we both decided to dine there. since according to the price displayed at the menu, it is still in the range of acceptable price.
As usual, we take our sit, then this one staff said "excuse" and put the menu on our table. we both were like... errr... no welcome? just excuse? is this how u should serve ur customer? we pass that. then... another girl come and take our order, emily ordered gambero, and i ordered carbonara. we waited, and at the same time we complain everything about the outlet, like the design & decoration of the outlet is very nice, pleasant. but the service is still lacking. grooming of their staffs was sucks too. like they don't even were cap, apron... untidy hair for girls. then, suddenly the girl who took our order comes and ask us again, what is ur order again miss? we both like? errr.. u haven't key in our order? like seriously? so we tell her our order, only 2 items, gambero & carbonara. then she said sorry miss we don't have gambero. once again, we were like... are u serious? u opened a while ago, and only now u update about what are those unavailable items? duh... but we don't even say that in to words in front of her. so emily ordered fettuccine chicken. as we waited, we continue complaining. and then... here comes our food... and once again we both disappointed with the amount of the pasta, not even reach 100grams, we know that because during our practical we always pack 200grams of fettuccine & spaghetti. it's ok, we go for the taste... and guess what... the pasta was sooooooooooo damn salty!
emily said, "now i know why people said that food here is expensive. not only the service sucks, the taste is awful." agreed! and i continue with "the service charge is 10% and that is not even worthy to give them 10% of tips with this kind of service" but the... we forces our self to finish the pasta. plus, it is not that much. so finish it as our money is our everything...
that is all for today.. i went jogging just now... and our big family will celebrate our "uncle' birthday tonight... with some cake. so must budget what i should eat. lol... don't get too much calories. hahahahahaha... like i care. that is a freaking cake ok . heee... see u soon guys...
